Rocky mountain goats just had a baby

Our rocky mountain goats just had a baby! During the first month mom and her kid stay in the inside enclosure, apart from the father. Usually nanny feeds a baby for half a year, and at one month old he is starting to eat grass.

Rocky mountain goats inhabit the mountain regions of North America. They live separately or in small herds. Their diet include herbs, twigs from the shrubs and trees, and moss. Most of their predatory neighbours are afraid of their pointed horns. Although they look nice, mountain goats are dangerous animals equipped with sharp horns and swift movements.

Our mountain goats usually have 1-2 offsprings.
